  Was a regular before when I worked nearby, now it's more of a weekend visit now and then.
  
  The lighting is a bit too dark for my liking, but it's pretty normal for some restaurants I've visited.
  
  The highlight for me is the beef tofu house, I'd have it in medium spicy level, it hit the spot!

  Love this place.. always loved to go here since the AYCE is so good.
  
  Good & fast service; but..
  
  My last visit a few days ago would probably be my last.
  
  Went with my family 4 people(stayed for an hour and a half).  Order 2 beers and 2 soda.  Bill came out 130$; they then added $32$ tip with no option to set it ourselves..  I understand automatic tip for large party or even 15-18% tip.. but automatic 25% on the bill for 4 people..
  
  Oh well I'll miss this place.

  I've been wanting to try this place for awhile since it's down the street from my house. I finally tried it and I'm not mad at it!
  
  Came on a Fri night and no wait - PLENTY of empty tables actually. It ended up working out because the server ended up being super attentive to our group!
  
  We ordered a number of the meats, but the short ribs were undeniably our favorite. Not too shabby at all. They provide both the soybean paste and sesame oil with salt as the main dipping sauces. We asked for brisket sauce and they gave us something similar to soy sauce.

  Came in for a late dinner and boy did it hit the spot. But this restaurant will change name and new owners are in the plans.
  
  I saw the official notice on the window (see pic). Rumor has it after new owners renovate, new Japanese restaurant, possibly a Japanese grill restaurant, will open late winter 2019.

  Wanted to go to another restaurant, but they had no parking, so we cruised around and found this hidden gem!
  
  1. There's enough parking around 6:30pm on a Saturday
  
  2. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated quickly
  
  3. They asked if we wanted BBQ or a la cart.  We chose the latter
  
  4. They didn't rush us while we were going over the a la cart menu
  
  5. They gave us glasses of water and a JAR of water!  I feel like all restaurants should do that.  It saves customers from asking and saves waiters and waitresses from refilling often
  
  6.  Food came out with banchan.  I wish the banchan should be put on the table as soon as we ordered.
  
  We ordered:
  
  BBQ beef ribeye on hot stone plate: Fairly large portion.  Beef was very tender and juicy.  With a little more salt would be great.
  
  BBQ marinated beef short ribs on hot stone plate: It also had a lot of meet, but you won't have any left over.  Simply because it tastes that good!
  
  Beef soft tofu stew with egg in sizzling hot pot: You don't crack your own egg.  I don't really care.  Watch out, it's boiling when it comes out.  Don't burn your lips or your tongue.  Wait for it to cool down a bit before you mix it with your rice.  Patience is virtue.
  
  Seafood soft tofu stew with egg in sizzling hot pot: Same as above
  
  I will definitely be back to try their BBQ!
